My Calendar FAQ

1) Log into the Public Website.
2) From the Home page, Calendar page or Committee page identify meetings you plan to attend. 
3) Select Add to My MISO Calendar.
4) Select Remove from My MISO Calendar to delete meeting.  

To subscribe to all meetings for a committee, visit the committee's page and choose Add all committee meetings to calendar. Once subscribed to a committee, you will receive all future meetings. You can unsubscribe to stop receiving updates.


To manage subscriptions, navigate to My Profile select My MISO Calendar, then click Committee Subsrciptions. 


Note: Once subscribed to a committee, new meetings for that committee will be automatically added to your list of meetings. Unsubscribe to the committee to stop auto-added meetings.
When future committee meetings are added, you will need to re-download them with the "Download New Events from Calendar" button. 
 

Your calendar can be viewed on the Calendar page by selecting My MISO Calendar and on your Profile page by selecting My MISO Calendar. 

To download all new meetings added to My MISO Calendar, go to the profile page, My MISO Calendar and click Download New Events from Calendar (.ics). By default, this button will not re-download meetings previously downloaded.

You can re-download previously downloaded meetings by checking Include previously downloaded events. 



If you want to download specific meetings, open List in the profile and make your selection. Then click Downloaded Selected.

When opening the downloaded file in Outlook, select Import to add them to your personal calendar. 



Note: Any re-downloaded meetings will appear as duplicates on your calendar, remove the outdated meeting first before downloading again. 
This is a snapshot of My MISO Calendar; any meetings added directly to your calendar will NOT automatically be updated from date or time changes. follow the instructions included on linking My MISO Calendar to your calendar app to receive automatic updates. 

Navigate to your profile. Under My MISO Calendar, click Sync to External Calendar. Copy the URL. 


Review the relevant instructions below to add My MISO Calendar to your personal device. This video tutorial demonstrates how to do this for Outlook users. (reference the 2:35 mark)

If you use a different app or software, search Google for "How to subscribe to an only calendar in "your calendar app" or contact your IT support for additional help. 

Note: My MISO Calendar will be added as a separate calendar in Outlook, like viewing a shared calendar or your coworker's calendar. You will lose the auto update functionality of meetings if you add meetings to your personal calendar. Automatic updates will only display on the newly linked My MISO Calendar. To ensure you don't miss any meetings, we recommend linking My MISO Calendar and downloading all meetings. 

Refresh timing depends on your calendar software. Some update quickly, while others sync only a few times per day.
