MISO has vendor relationships with several renewable tracking system vendors, including M-RETS, MIRECS and NAR.

Background:
These vendor programs are not part of the regular MISO Settlement process, the vendor uses static data from the S55 to administer their non-MISO verification program.
To participate in a REC program a market participant (as defined in MISO’s Open Access Transmission and Energy Markets Tariff) signs a Release Form from the administrating vendor, who then submits it to MISO. This Release allows MISO Data Services to pull and provide the static S55 data to the vendor.
If discrepancies are identified in a REC, please contact your vendor representative for help.
It is the responsibility of the Market Participant to work first through their Settlements for updates and later in turn contact the vendor. Only Market Participants can update their Settlements data and only the vendors can request an updated snapshot.
