Financial Transmission Rights (FTR) terms were not impacted by the module E seasonal construct change. FTRs may be acquired for either a seasonal or monthly term, depending on the periods being auctioned. An FTR acquired for a seasonal term is valid for the entire season, unless the holder sells the FTR in a subsequent monthly auction.

Similarly, Auction Revenue Rights (ARRs) are only available as a seasonal product. If the ARR holder chooses to convert the ARR into an FTR during the annual auction, that FTR will seasonal, but they can then sell a portion of it in a subsequent monthly auction.

FTR processes that have relied on yearly data, such as the determination of nomination caps for ARR allocation or capacity factor thresholds for Reserved Source Point (RSP) eligibility, will continue to use yearly values to be determined from seasonal data.
