New Market Participants have an auto created default Asset Owner (AO) added to their account with the naming convention equal to their NERC Entity Code’. And MPs can create additional AOs as needed.
Note: AO ABBREV NAME CANNOT have a dot. AO LEGAL NAME can include dot.
The naming convention for creating a NEW AO : “ABBREV NAME” must be no longer than 15 characters and can include letters, numbers, and special characters underscore “_”;”
AO LEGAL NAME” must be no longer than 62 characters and can include letters, numbers, and special characters hyphen “-“, underscore “_”, dot “.”, comma “,”, square brackets “[]”, and forward slash “/”. “MP ABBREV NAME” is simply their Entity Code. Important note – “AO ABBREV NAME” and “AO LEGAL NAME” cannot be identical.
