Market Participants (MPs) submit their load forecast data for the upcoming planning year on an Asset Owner/Load Balancing Authority (LBA) basis, coincident to MISO’s forecasted system peak. These values do not include transmission losses as these are added separately by MISO. Data is entered on the Module E Capacity Tracking tool (MECT) page found at Forecast>Coincident Peak.
Please note that forecast data cannot be submitted for review until MPs attach supporting documentation detailing their forecast methodology.
