Market Participants (MPs) serving load should submit their company’s energy forecast data for the upcoming 10 planning years. This forecast is on an Asset Owner/LBA basis representing the monthly forecasted peak energy load in GW/hours for the two approaching planning years, as well as seasonally via a Summer/Winter figure for the remaining 8 years.
This data is not coincident to MISO system peaks. The forecast data must include transmission losses.
Energy For Load forecast Data is entered on the Module E Capacity Tracking tool (MECT) page found at Forecast>Energy For Load.
Please note that forecast data cannot be submitted for review until MPs attach supporting documentation detailing their Coincident Peak forecast methodology.
